SNAPVIEW redisplays DB2 Shapshots for easy reading

What is SNAPVIEW?

Snapview is a FREE utility that displays a DB2 Snapshot in a format that is easy for you to interpret. Standard Snapshot output is voluminous and time-consuming to read; Snapview displays tabulated results that are easy for you to read.

Snapview also comes with a few scripts which make it simpler to take DB2 snapshots; you can use these, combined with Snapview, as a cheap and simple DB2 monitor.

You can also use Snapview to display the output from a number of other DB2 commands: DB and DBM Config, List Tablespaces, and Event Monitor.

The output from a DB2 Snapshot is a plain text file like this. You can use Snapview to reformat this snapshot file into this format, much easier to refer to.
